Is Carrot Cars busy?
Carrot Cars is completing up to 6000 jobs every week. There is no doubt that we are one of the busiest minicab companies in London.
Open Shift Drivers are also receiveing daily "busy time predictions", in order to maximise their income.
In which areas of London does Carrot Cars operate?
We come and go anywhere in the UK, as long the pick-up or drop-off point is in one of the following areas of London:
Canary Wharf/Isle of Dogs, E14
Excel Centre/City Airport, E16
The City of London EC1,2,3,4
How can I apply for a job?

Will I be treated fairly?
We are running a strict “No Feeding” policy. All our drivers are treated fairly and equally!
Our state of the art computer dispatch sytem will minimaize your deadmileage and will increase your income at the same time.
What are the requirements from me?
1. Good knowledge of London.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Own satellite navigation system with the latest maps and software updates.
4. You must speak fluent English.
By which method will jobs be dispatched?
All jobs will be sent directly to your mobile phone's application. (Please note that you have to have a Iphone (IOS) or Android based phone. We do not accept any other operating systems)
No radios are used.
How much money will I make?
Weekly income prediction after the commission:
50 hours per week:
Car = £500 - £1000
6 seater = £600 - £1100
Executive = £700 - £1250
65 hours per week:
Car = £650-£1150
6 seater = £750 - £1250
Executive = £850 - £1350
Open shift drivers have the same earning potential as fixed shift drivers.

Fixed shift fees?
We charge a weekly fixed fee of £75 plus VAT. However, the sum of £15 plus VAT for every shift you work will be refunded. If you work 5 shifts then the full £75 plus VAT will be paid back to you.
You will be charged 17.5% excluding VAT, per fare.
£20 plus VAT per week for:
Driver Application Licence Fee.
Unlimited text messages to your customers.
Other Admin fees and stationary.
How many hours I need to work?
Fixed shift drivers are required to work a minimum of 5 shift of 10 hours per week.
Each shift will contain two 1-hour breaks.
Open shift drivers have no minimum or maximum requirement.
Do I need to pay anything before I start?
Security deposit (For Fixed Shift Drivers Only): £200 (Two hundred pounds). This will be returned at the end of the contract.
One off training fee: £78 (Seventy eight pounds). Non-refundable.
Is it account or cash work?
10% account (account jobs paid in cash weekly)
How soon can I start work?
After your application has been successful, we will arrange an interview with you. This will take approximately 30 minutes.
You must attend a one-off Carrot Cars training session. Training will take one full day.
If you have passed the test at the end of the training then you can start working the following day.
What will be my dress code?
Smart! All Carrot Cars drivers wear a suit and tie.

Can I resign at anytime I want?
In your first two weeks you can leave the company without any notice. After this trial period you must give us 14 days notice if you wish to resign.
What kind of car do I need?
All vehicles will undergo a full technical and quality inspection.
Main criteria of the vehicle:
1. No older than 5 years.
3. Immaculate condition.

Is there any Executive Car work?
Carrot Cars has a full working executive car department. Our executive fleet contains Mercedes E and S classes, BMW 7 series, Jaguars etc.
What kind of documentation do I need?
1. PCO driver licence (Plastic & counterpart).
2. PCO vehicle licence.
3. DVLA driving licence. (Plastic & counterpart).
4. MOT of the vehicle (No older than 6 months).
5. Valid insurance certificate (For private hire driver and vehicle).
6. National Insurance number.
7. V5 vehicle documentation.
8. One passport size photo.
9. Hire agreement for the rental car
10. Proof of address no older than three months
