Make it a Valentine's Day to remember

If there's one day of the year that you want to visit a wonderful restaurant with someone special, it's Valentine's Day.

Now is the time to book your table for two for Tuesday 14 February, so whether you love the romantic glamour of Theatreland, or prefer the allure of the City, our selection of London's most enticing eateries will wow you and your date.

And don't worry if Cupid hasn't worked any magic for you this year; our pick of the pack are two fabulous restaurants where you can enjoy a great meal with your friends or a cosy bite to eat at a table for one.

For a romantic night out in the West End, the high-end US-style diner Joe Allen, with all the classic American favourites on their à la carte and set menus, is the perfect place for you to Food selection at Joe Allengrab a bite before seeing a show.

The à la carte menu features iconic dishes from the land of the Stars and Stripes, including
steaks that many people regard as the best in town, all made from free-range British-herded beef aged for 28 days.

Starters including Buffalo wings, creamy mac'n'cheese, and crispy squid are perfect for mixing and matching, whilst the chopped liver with egg and gherkin will keep you thoroughly nourished with its delicious taste and texture.

The wine list takes in the best of New World and Old World wines, with crisp white wines such as the Ciu Ciu Falerio contrasting nicely with the bold Château de Cérons Cabernet Sauvignon.

Across town, The Fable channels a unique romantic vibe, with two special sharing dishes on the menu. The Grilled Dover sole with nut brown butter and chips, or a filling 16oz Chateaubriand steak with chips and béarnaise sauce are on offer to warm you up.
