Hey, did you know? A popular children’s song written in the early 20th century was so popular at one point it spawned its own special day. Today the celebration of the “Teddy bears picnic” happens on July 10th every year.
Surely with the heatwave we’ve been having your picnic baskets have already been in heavy use and if not this is the perfect opportunity. Get the teddies and your kids together for some bear themed outdoor fun as the weather is expected to remain fair for a little while longer. If your little one is not scared of crossing the foot tunnel under the Thames from the Isle of Dogs to Greenwich you can make way Greenwich park. Cosy up on the hill for some of the best views of London one can have on a picnic.
