Due to Carrot Cars continuous growth, we are constantly recruiting new drivers and operators to meet demand. Previous experience is preferable but not essential if you have a sound knowledge of London. We have a full training program and you have the opportunity to become licensed under the new Public Carriage Office (PCO) legislation.

Criteria:The minimum age is 20 for operators and 21 for drivers. Both drivers and operators must have a sound knowledge of the streets and attractions of London. English speaking, good communication and outstanding customer service skills are essential. Experience as a black taxi or minicab driver is an advantage.

Driver duties: Driving all over London and other locations when necessary. Using Mercury technology (GPS (satellite navigation) and XDAs (mobile communication devices)) for communication with operators and customers. Drivers also have access to pre-booked airport and hotel transfers which enable more jobs to start off a shift.
We have a belief that our team should be happy, motivated and proud to work for Carrot Cars. Thus our unique commission based system and no 'circuit rent' scheme has been put in place to ensure that our drivers don't pay any unfair fees which other minicab companies charge.

Operator duties: Answering customer calls, emails and internet bookings, logging and dispatching jobs. Using Mercury technology (GPS (satellite navigation) and XDAs (mobile communication devices)) for communication with drivers and customers. Helping with the organisation of marketing projects.
