The Ice Rink is back!

The Ice Rink in Canary Wharf has set up shop for it's seventh year in Canada Square Park. With skating from 9.45am - 11.00pm Monday - Saturday, and 9.45am - 7.30pm on Sunday, there is plenty of opportunity to show of your moves. The rink is the longest open in London and will be there until February 19th.

Set in the heart of Canary Wharf you not only get to skate within the stunning, world famous views of the area, but it is also decked out with lights and Christmas decorations to give a very festive feel while you're on the ice. There is music playing on the rink to add to the enjoyment and they can host office parties as well as family get-togethers and any other reason you might have to go skating. The prices include brand new, high quality, sharpened skates for rent and for all the novices, there are helpful marshals that will lend a hand and teach you the ropes. They can also provide complete non skaters with a support penguin to get you started.

Attached to the rink is 'The Moose', Canadian themed bar and diner where you can warm up with the Carrot Cars recommended mulled wine. There is also a food menu that contains an amazing variety of speciality sausages cooked on an innovative Swiss smokeless barbecue machine owned by a company based in Borough Market. The relaxed 'Rocky Mountain' atmosphere will transport you from the hectic office or shopping environment in Canary Wharf.

Of course if you need to get to or from the Ice Rink you can always call Canary Wharf and Docklands' favourite Mini-Cab company, Carrot Cars.
